//Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Islamabad, a leading E&P Company of the country, invites applications for position of General Manager-Learning & Organizational Development. The incumbent will report to Executive Director (HR)//.
QUALIFICATION:
The minimum qualification must be 16 years of education in the fields of Management Sciences, Engineering, Finance or Law from a national or internationally recognized university. Professional certifications in the relevant field will be added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
16 years relevant post-qualification experience, including 06 years in senior leadership positions of HR management.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a senior leadership position, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, development, implementation and administration of development and training programs for company employees. The person will act as liaison and advisor to the organization’s leadership and will facilitate initiatives across the company including:
- Formulating the corporate learning strategy in line with overall business strategy and ensuring its implementation.
- Directing the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company including managing training infrastructure of the company.
- Consulting with senior management on performance, organizational and leadership matters.
- Establishing linkage with industry and specialized forums through networking, seminars,conferences, etc.
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Aligning the performance management policy of the organization with industry best practices.
- Managing the talent management process including potential assessment, succession planning and career development.
- Conducting an exercise of Job Analysis and Job Evaluation to ascertain the job sizes.

The term of employment will be three (03) years. Open term contract may be offered upon successful completion of the initial period.
